What does the Annual Assessment cover?

The assessment covers property taxes assessed on the 8 acres of greenbelt owned by the association, maintenance of the greenbelt (cutting the grass, trimming trees and shrubs, and maintaining the sidewalks and storm drains), utility costs for the lighting on the greenbelt, liability insurance, and the costs incurred doing the business of the association (post office box, office supplies, printing and mailing costs, accounting costs, and legal fees). Additionally, the association hosts two community events each year, Spring Fling and Fall Family Movie Night.

Is my family automatically a member of the Town South Swim & Tennis Club when we purchase a house?

No, you must join the Town South Swim & Tennis Club in order to use the facility. The contact number is 318-797-7932 or you may want to stop by when someone is there.

When is trash pick-up day?

Trash pick-up for Town South is on Monday, except for holidays. For more information on garbage, trash and yard waste collection, please visit the City of Shreveport’s Public Works Division website: http://www.shreveportla.gov/index.aspx?nid=486
